The Adirondack Museum has released a new book of historic photographs. Compiled by Victoria Verner Sandiford, "Historic Images of the Adirondacks" (North Country Books, 128 pages, $19.95) features more than 140 historic photographs from the museum's renowned collection of nearly 80,000 images. It includes photos of early settlers, lumber and great camps, hotels, campgrounds and candid shots of everyday life.
